Susan received her Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Immaculata College where she was President of The Student Dietetic Association and graduated at the top of her class.
As a result of her hard work at college, Susan was invited to intern at West Virginia University Hospitals. While there she received a great variety of clinical training in many areas such as pediatrics, oncology, surgical, trauma, bone marrow transplant, renal and diabetic nutrition.
She works with many local physicians, chiropractors, cardiologists, surgeons, businesses and employers to custom design nutrition education programs for individuals as well as groups. She works one-on-one with clients needing help with nutrition related issues including high blood pressure, unhealthy cholesterol levels, gluten allergy, unhealthy weight, diabetes, pregnancy, cancer, thyroid disorder, and gastrointestinal disorder. Her goal is give clients the tools they need to get to their healthy best. The focus of her practice is on wellness and helping clients to live happy, healthy lives through better nutrition.
Susan is very experienced. She has been a nutrition professional since 1999. She is also abreast of current changes and trends in the field of nutrition. Ongoing education and a constant hunger for knowledge keep Susan up-to-date on the latest trends, diets, and recommendations related to nutrition, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
